The Natural ADVENTURE destination is a remarkable offering not only for marine adventures – Great White shark cage diving, whale watching, but as a fynbos adventure destination it boasts unique Cape Fynbos, a plant diversity ranking among the richest in the world. The area is ideal for hiking, bird-watching, mountain biking, and horse-riding.

As a beach adventure destination this coastline offers a haven for surfers and lovers of water sports with its many pristine shores and secluded coves. Enjoy activities such as surfing, fishing or simply strolling along the endless stretches of unspoiled natural beauty along with the diverse landscapes and amazing coastline from De Kelders around Danger Point to Pearly Beach.

There is also a Heritage Adventure – Do some cave crawling within the five caves hiding along our coast. Don’t forget to pop in at the Strandveld museum where old tales and interesting stories about the area are shared.

If you fancy watching the whales from the air, scenic flights are available or a boat cruise where you can watch the marine big 5, rare bird species and other marine life in their natural habitat. Visit the African Penguin and Sea Bird Sanctuary (APSS) and learn more about the fascinating work done to conserve marine life. Take a drive out to the picturesque village of Baardskeerdersbos passing wine farms, endless fynbos landscapes ending up visiting the local artists.
